Dr. Jeffrey Harrison
Board-certified orthopedic surgeon in Ogden
Dr. Jeffrey Harrison is a board-certified fellowship-trained orthopedic and sports medicine surgeon. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Baylor University. He completed his orthopedic surgery training at the University of Utah, followed by additional training with Dr. Hans Staubli, one of Europe’s finest knee surgeons, in Bern, Switzerland. He concluded his training with a one-year sports medicine fellowship with Dr. Frank Noyes in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Dr. Harrison became the first fellowship-trained sports medicine orthopedic surgeon in Northern Utah. In 1998, he teamed up with Dr. Thomas Calton, a fellowship-trained total joint specialist, and the two formed the Calton-Harrison Clinic. Over the years, Dr. Harrison recruited an additional seven specialized, fellowship-trained surgeons in trauma, spine, hand, foot and ankle, and total joint surgery. He also recruited four non-operative sports medicine specialists to evaluate and treat non-operative musculoskeletal injuries. This allowed Dr. Harrison to dedicate and focus his practice on knee and shoulder preservation surgery.
